Terms & Conditions

Outdoor Harmony Landscaping and Design
Effective: [20/03/2025]

1. Quotations & Pricing

  • All quotes are valid for 30 days from the issue date unless stated otherwise.

  • Prices are based on the information provided at the time of quotation. Any significant changes to the scope, materials, or access may affect the final cost.

  • Additional work not included in the original quotation will be charged separately and agreed upon in writing before work proceeds.

2. Booking & Deposit

  • A deposit of 25%–40% (depending on project size) is required to secure the booking and cover material orders.

  • The remaining balance is payable upon completion of the project, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

3. Materials & Products

  • All materials used will be of high-quality, fit for purpose, and sourced from trusted suppliers.

  • If specific materials are requested by the client, they must be confirmed before ordering. Delays due to supplier availability may impact project timelines.

4. Project Schedule & Delays

  • Start dates and durations are estimated and may be affected by weather, supplier delays, or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • We will notify you of any major delays and reschedule as soon as possible.

  • We aim to complete work within the agreed timeframe, but cannot be held responsible for delays beyond our control.

5. Access & Responsibilities

  • The client is responsible for providing clear and safe access to the worksite at the agreed start time.

  • Any delays or costs incurred due to restricted access, parked vehicles, pets, or third-party obstruction may result in additional charges or project delays.

6. Waste Removal & Site Cleanliness

  • All standard waste resulting from our work will be removed unless otherwise agreed.

  • Additional charges may apply for skip hire or disposal of large or non-standard waste.

7. Guarantees & Aftercare

  • Hard landscaping installations (e.g. paving, fencing) come with a 12-month workmanship guarantee.

  • We are not responsible for damage caused by natural weathering, wear and tear, subsidence, poor drainage, or misuse.

  • Any concerns must be reported in writing within 7 days of discovery.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

  • If the client cancels less than 7 days before the agreed start date, the deposit may be retained to cover losses.

  • Cancellations made earlier may be subject to an administrative fee if materials have been ordered.

9. Liability & Insurance

  • We hold full public liability insurance.

  • Outdoor Harmony Gardening and Design is not responsible for underground pipes, wires, or other hidden services not disclosed in advance.

  • Clients are advised to inform us of any known underground services or risks on site.

10. Photography & Promotion

  • We may take photos of completed work for portfolio or marketing purposes. If you wish to opt out, please notify us in writing before the project begins.

11. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be settled under the jurisdiction of UK courts.
